The World Series of Poker has released the finalized schedule for the World Series of Poker Europe, which will be held at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic from October 13 to November 4, 2019. There will be a total of ten gold bracelet events, featuring more than €14 million in guaranteed prize pools.
This is the third straight year that the casino right across from the German border will play host to the WSOP Europe and it looks like the poker festival will be held there well into the future.
“We are eager to return to King’s Resort in October for the 11th edition of WSOP Europe,” said WSOP Director Gregory Chochon in a press release. “King’s Resort has become the center of the poker world in Europe and they are once again bolstering this series with €14 million plus in guarantees to ensure players find plenty of value and opportunity.”
The WSOP Europe Main Event will have two starting flights, October 25 and October 26, and will cost €10,350. Jack Sinclair won last year’s WSOP Europe Main Event after entering the final table fourth in chips, claiming the top prize of €1,122,239.
The lineup of events is largely the same as last year, except for two. The €350 “Opener” No-Limit Hold’em event is the kickoff tournament, new this year, and is the lowest buy-in event of the 2019 WSOP Europe. Also new is the third event, the €1,350 Mini Main Event No-Limit Hold’em. Off the schedule are the €1,100 Monster Stack and the €1,650 No Limit Hold’em 6-Handed Deepstack. Guess tournament organizers don’t like players starting with huge stacks.
The WSOP Circuit will also be making a stop at King’s Casino right before the WSOP Europe, so players can really go nuts and have an extended poker stay if they so desire.
