Full Tilt Poker recently introduced changes to its software that streamlined many processes players face when logged into the site. In addition, Full Tilt announced an adjustment to its policies regarding Full Tilt Points (FTPs).
For playing on the site, customers at Full Tilt Poker earn FTPs from cash games, tournaments, and sit and gos. Although there is no change to how players earn FTPs, Full Tilt announced that those points will have an expiration date.
In an e-mail sent to its customers on Sunday, Full Tilt Poker explained, “Full Tilt Poker has changed the policy for handling Full Tilt Points. Your Full Tilt Points will now expire if you have not logged in to Full Tilt Poker for two consecutive years… If you fail to do so, the Full Tilt Points in your account will expire.” FTPs can be used for buying into tournaments and purchasing items from the Full Tilt Poker Store.
Some of the adjustments to the site’s software solve issues that players have been asking for. For those looking for quick access to the plethora of cash games, a one-click seating option has been added. With this addition, players will be able to directly take a seat at an open table from the lobby without having to go to the table and accessing the seating option.
Another change to the Full Tilt Poker software gives players an easier option to find Rush Poker and Multi-Entry tournaments in the lobby. Previously, when players were looking for tournament action on the site, there were no filter options available for Rush Poker and Multi-Entry events. This most recent software change has added those options.
Once at the tables, players on Full Tilt Poker have new options at their disposal. For those who want to tag opponents for future play, a “Find A Player” option has been added. To activate this, right click on an opponent and, along with the ability to mute a player’s chat and take notes, a “Find Player” option now appears.
Several new hotkeys have been added to Full Tilt’s software that will allow a player to customize their preferences when they are in action. Three different table options – “Tile,” “Cascade,” and “Stack” – have had hotkeys added to speed up these processes. Further details can be found on the Full Tilt Poker website.
These changes are all currently in place just in time for the start of a huge promotion for Full Tilt Poker. The #2 site in the online poker industry recently announced its Challenge durrrr promotion that will be running until the end of March. In this promotion, Full Tilt Poker’s Tom “durrrr” Dwan will take on a lucky participant in a multi-table session inspired by his durrrr Challenge battles. If his opponent is successful in the multi-table challenge against Dwan, they can walk away with a payday of $1.5 million.
