Ultimate Bet has enhanced its software with two main improvements: the use of “username” instead of “nickname” and an improved and more secure P2P transfer system.
Users who got confused with the difference between “username” and “nickname” are bound to have an easier time now: the word nickname has been completely discontinued at UB, so now players will find their username visibly displayed all over their UB client: at the tables, at the cashier, at tournament leaderboards and several other locations in the client. The username will be also used for identification purposes when contacting Customer Support, so everyone is on the same page.
Ultimate Bet has also dedicated some effort to making player to player transfers more efficient and secure by adding a “trusted” players list. That way it is easy to enable or disable transfers from players according to whether they are part of the “trusted” list – for example, players can choose not to receive funds from any player who is not on their “trusted” list. In order to transfer funds to another player, the sender must be in the receiver’s “trusted” list or the receiver must be willing to receive transfers from anyone.
