Full Tilt Poker has been hosting one of their major events during the year the FTOPS XIII which started on August 5th and will end this Sunday August 16th. But before such a big event comes to an end Full Tilt Poker will host the FTOPS Ante Up for Africa on Saturday August 15th at 4pm ET.
All the tournament entry fees to the FTOPS Ante Up for Africa will be donated to charity, and two celebrities that will play in the event are Don Cheadle and Matt Damon. Keep in mind that the prize pool for this tournament is $100K Guaranteed.
Players that don’t want to pay the full buy-in to the event have several options of winning a seat to the Ante Up for Africa. Full Tilt Poker is offering Sit and Gos and tournaments that will guarantee a seat to the charity event in Saturday. The smallest buy-in to a satellite event is $2 + $0.25.
Today the FTOPS will run event #18 at 2pm ET; the host will be Ross Boatman, the game played will be Pot Limit Omaha Heads Up, the buy-in to the event is $200 + $16 and the prize pool is $150,000 Guaranteed. There are many satellite events that will run in the next hours that will guarantee a seat to event #18.
The second FTOPS event that will be taking place today will be event #19 at 9pm ET and it will be hosted by Chris Ferguson the event will be played out as Limit Hold’em 6-max and the prize pool will be $150,000. The buy-in to the event is $200 + $16. There are many satellites to the event that will be running all day.
