Full Tilt Poker is known for having some of the best action online at the high stakes table limits. Names that are commonly seen at the nosebleed tables are Phil Ivey, Gus Hansen, David Benyamine, Tom “durrrr” Dwan, Patrik Antonius, Richard Ashby and many more.
Railbirds around the world have commented since the beginning of the year about the downswings that durrrr has experienced. He was down $4 million dollars at one point and he managed to recover his loses and be up around $1.5 million. After getting into the green numbers he hit another downswing recently and his loses were more than $1.5 million. But the last 24 hours were very intense for Tom: while he had at one point more than $2 million in profits, by the time he finished the session he was up $1.3 million. It looks like his EV has finally turned to the positive side, but he is still down around $280K for the year so far, just in his Full Tilt Poker account.
In other news Full Tilt Poker will be hosting tonight one of the biggest guaranteed tournaments for today with a prize pool of $100K Guaranteed. The tournament will be starting at 9pm ET. Re-buys will be unlimited until level 5 and only one add-on will be available. The winner will be taking home $50K.
