There are technical issues at Cake Poker, which are still affecting its performance. Cake Poker will be taken offline tomorrow for an estimated 60 minutes, so players should be aware that at 9 am ET their software will lose connection to the Cake network for about an hour.
Cake Poker announced that they will be performing a server upgrade and network reconfiguration. On September 15th Cake Poker was also offline due to maintenance just a few days after they re-opened their tournaments this month. September has not been a good month for Cake Poker, as their network seems unstable, but it is hoped that this new update will fix once and for all the bugs and glitches that are affecting the Cake Poker software.
During the down time, support will be available at their site, for all those customers that want to get in touch with them.
All Cake Poker players that want to participate in the monthly $250K guaranteed for September should be aware that the popular tournament will be played this upcoming Sunday. For those not ready to pay the full buy-in, there are satellites running for as low as $3.
