Gus Hansen has had a difficult second half of the year on the Full Tilt Poker tables. In the first six months of the year he was up $3.2 million at one point, but lost nearly all of it back in June.

The following months, July, August and September have brought Gus one of the worst downswings, which will only remind players of the downswing that Tom “durrrr” Dwan experienced at the beginning of the year. Gus Hansen lost $950K in September, which made him the biggest loser of the month. But Hansen was not alone in the red numbers: Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies lost $635K, Tom “durrrr” Dwan lost $451K, Tom “kingofcards” Marchese lost $450K, Full Tilt Poker Pro David Benyamine lost $426K, Sami “LarsLuzak” Kelopuro lost $392K, and Chau Giang lost $350K.

On the profitable side for month are several players that recorded big profits and their bankrolls have benefit from that. Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond won over $1.3 million, David “POKERBLUFFS” Eldar won nearly $1.1 million, Full Tilt Poker Pro Patrik Antonius had a profit of $921K, Ashton “theASHMAN103” Griffin won $868K, Aaron “aejones” Jones won $390K, Cole South won $335K and Richard Ashby won $191K.
