Just as expected by the tournament organizers, Day 2B of the EPT Warsaw had a much larger field than the first day as a total of one hundred and thirty players showed up to compete.
Day 1A had three players who took the spotlight, including Carter Phillips who ended the day as chipleader and has a chance to be the first person to ever win two EPT tournaments. He won the EPT Barcelona less than two months ago. The other two players that had a remarkable performance where: Clayton Modzen and PokerStars pro Luca Pagano.
The field in day 2B saw many PokerStars pros show up, including Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier, Katja Thater, Florian Longman, Sebastian Ruthenberg, Dario Minieri, Thierry van den Berg and William Thorson.
Another player wgo has built quite a reputation but mainly on the virtual felts is Shaun Deeb, but he is still looking for a major win at a live tournament. He definitely has the potential so it’s just a matter of time before it happens.
