It was a busy weekend at the PokerStars tables again as players from all parts of the world wanted to win a percentage of the huge prize pools up for grabs.
The Sunday Million’s prize pool swelled to $1,648,400 and a total of 1,260 players would leave the tournament with extra money in their PokerStars account.
When there were ten players remaining in the tournament, prinsen123 decided to push his chips to the center of the table while holding Td-Qd. Player Pokerpiggen called with Ah-Jd and after seeing the board run Ks-5h-Ac-5d-4s, prinsen123 was busted out of the tournament in the bubble boy position; but he did not leave empty handed he took $8,736 for his efforts.
The first player to exit the final table was AKSchwan. After going all-in while holding Ac-Qs, Schwan’s opponent tobias fuke held Kc-5d and the board ran 9c-2s-Ks-Qc-9s which gave AKSchwan a ninth place finish and a $12,775 prize.
Player grifo173 held the chip lead during the entire tournament and outperformed all players to eventually take home the $242K first place prize.
The Sunday Warm-up had the same great influx of players which boosted the prize pool to $953K and 720 players would make it to the money. The tournament was won by a$$ou for $140K and the runner up was sizzlinbetta for $119K.
