As always, the biggest tournament on PokerStars this weekend was the Sunday Million, which attracted an outstanding field of 9,077 player. The enormous field took more than nine hours to play down to the final two tables and an additional three hours to complete from there. At the end caio_pimienta outplayed the field and took the $259K first place prize, while KillerMendez took $190K for 2nd, and floriverboy $135K for 3rd.
The Turbo Takedown was also held this weekend and it had a total of 21,423 show up to play. One of the prizes every player was vying for was the Audi TT RS that would be awarded to the player who finished in first place. At the end the top five places reached an agreement and viebu saw his PokerStars balance increase in $38K, in addition to the new Audi TT RS, while anti-durrr took second place for $43K, and tiger604 took home $42K for 3rd.
The Sunday Warm-up also had a very large player field, as a total of 4,628 players entered the tournament and created a prize pool that exceeded $925K. The top 675 players took a percentage of the prize pool for their efforts. At the end the aggression that Mr. Shanish finished in first place prize, taking home $116K.
