Sunday was another big day at PokerStars and even though players around the world are traveling and making arrangements to spend the holidays with their loved ones, they found the time to try to score some extra money in the big guarantees tournaments over the weekend.
The Sunday Million had a total of 8,626 players which pushed the prize pool to a notable $1.7 million. After hours of intense play the field was down to just three players left. The trio briefly stopped play to discuss a deal, but no agreement was reached so they played on. A few hands later Team Angle was eliminated in third place for $129K. When all was said and done, ran77 took first place for $238K and his opponent in the heads-up action was awarded second place for $200K.
Prior to The Million, 4,718 players showed up for the Sunday Warm-Up. The final three players reached a deal with Ely_cash41 getting $126K, AceKicker_19 taking $113K, and the third place finisher cashing for $96K.
In other PokerStars news the PCA will be starting in January and the satellite tournaments have started, their are plenty of packages at stake each week, satellites start as low as $1.10.
