During the holiday season players tend to have a lot of time off from work to spend with their families and friends. But some players like to earn some extra bucks on the side while they celebrate their holidays and why blame them when there are so many tournaments with thousands of dollars at stake.
For those players who want to stay at home tonight and work on their poker game, Absolute Poker will be hosting a $50 $15K re-buy tournament at 9 pm. Two hours later, a knockout tournament will have players battling for a $25K guaranteed prize pool. For the players who bust out of the previous tournaments in the first levels but want to take another shot at a big prize pool, Absolute will have a $30 $15K tourney with re-buys at 10 pm. Players will also get the chance to play at a super satellite that will award seats to the $200K guaranteed that is played on Sunday afternoon.
The Saturday tournament schedule will have another super satellite that will feed the $200K as well and in addition to that a $50K deep stack tourney at 2:55pm. Ten minutes after another $50K guaranteed will start. There will also be a $15K Pot Limit Omaha 8 tourney, a $20K PLO tourney, and a $25K knockout tournament on Saturday.
The biggest amounts of cash will be on the line on Sunday. Starting at 1 pm a $100K prize pool will be at stake in a No Limit Hold’em tourney, three hours later the biggest guaranteed prize pool will cause a fierce battle on the virtual felts as players will be fighting to take home a percentage of the $200K in guaranteed prizes.
