Bodog Poker will be running two series of tournaments that will award thousands of dollars. All Bodog players will be able to participate in the different tournaments, which will be held during the same week, starting November 1st and ending on November 8th.
To give players an idea the Bodog Poker IV Championship will have tournaments buy-ins in the range of $50 + $5 and up to $470 + $30 for the main event. The poker room will be adding an additional amount of money to each event ranging from $5K up to $25K. Most of the tourneys be No Limit Hold’em, but there will also be some Omaha and mixed game events. Bodog Poker will also award to the winner of each event a seat to the main event which takes place on Sunday November 8th at 4 pm ET.
The second series of tournaments are for players with a much smaller bankroll. The Bodog Poker IV Contender Series will have a total of eight tournaments which will follow the same format as their Championship counter part. The buy-ins will be range of $5 + $1 up to $46 + $4 for the main event which will also be played put on Sunday November 8th. In the Contender Series Bodog will guarantee a prize pool of $7.5K in the first event and will add $2.5K to the main event prize pool.
As a bonus Bodog Poker will award the winners of the first seven events of the Contender Series a seat to the main event of the Championship Series.
All the Bodog pros will be taking a shot at the great prizes that will be on the line, so keep an eye out for Jean-Robert Bellande, David Williams, Evelyn NG and Justin Bonomo.
The next Bodog champion will get a feature spread in the popular Card Player Magazine, exposure to the poker world with the Bodog Poker articles, a high profile feature status in the Bodog Beats poker section, the coveted Bodog Poker Champion title and the huge prize pool.
