DoylesRoom has added a new tournament to their schedule and it will be played on the first and third Monday of each month. The tournament will be played out as a knockout tourney, each player in the field will have a $10 bounty on their head, and in addition to that each Brunson Ten member will have a $500 tag on their head. The buy-in is $22 and the total prize pool at stake is $10K.
The first Beat the Brunson Ten tournament this year will be played tonight at 9 pm ET, enter the tournament and try to catch one of the current members of the Brunson Ten for a bounty worth $500.
The Brunson Ten had five players and Doyle himself is looking for remarkable online talents to add to the team, a new announcement is due soon. Unfortunately for DoylesRoom a member of their team has left: Alec “traheho” Torelli has recently announced that he will no longer be part of the Brunson Ten. He will be involved in a new project that was incompatible with his link to DoylesRoom.
The current team is downsized to four players, but the accumulated experience between them is remarkable. The line-up includes Chris Moorman, known for being a fierce opponent in online multitable tournaments – he has had great success at the virtual felts and continues to amaze the poker community.
Amit “amak316” Makhija is another DoylesRoom pro, he has had a lot of success at live tournaments during the past years. His biggest win was at the Legends of Poker/WPT Event Season 7 for $563,320 and for 2010 he already has a 52nd place at the PCA for $45K.
Another rising star that belongs to the Brunson Ten team is Zachary Clark, his biggest accomplishment in live tournaments was a third place finish at the 2008 Legends of Poker for $281K.
The last player in the Brunson Ten team is Dani “ansky” Stern, he is mainly an online player but has participated in live events as well, his best performance was at the ’09 WSOP event 2 where he finished in fourth place for $548K.
