The Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) will return next month to give poker players their 23rd chance at big money and custom avatars. FTOPS XXIII is still essentially the same as FTOPS past, though compared to the March running of the poker festival, there have been several changes.
FTOPS XXIII will have one more event – 39 – than did the previous FTOPS, but the total guaranteed prize pool across all events has dropped from $10 million to $8 million. The costs to enter the tournaments have dropped slightly, as well, as the house fees tacked onto the buy-ins have been cut. Here is a look at the new cost structure:

Several new games have also been added to the schedule, including Courchevel, 5-Card Omaha, 6-Card Omaha, and Escalator tournaments.
FTOPS XXIII begins Sunday, August 4th with two tournaments: $200 + $15 No-Limit Hold’em Re-Entry and $300 + $20 No-Limit Hold’em Escalator. The FTOPS XXIII Main Event will take place two weeks later with the $600 + $35 No-Limit Hold’em Re-Entry tournament featuring a $1.5 million guaranteed prize pool.
