With the terrible downswings that Tom “durrrr” Dwan, Gus Hansen, and Isildur1 have experienced, they have opted to take a few days off from poker to re-think their entire strategy. Afterall, a player’s bankroll can be completely destroyed in just a few hours of play at the nosebleed table limits.
But durrrr is a very experienced player and he knows how to handle a downswing. At the beginning of the year he had the unfortunate luck of experiencing a downswing that took his bankroll for a roller coaster ride in which he was down around $4 million at some point. It took him several months to earn back his losses and regain momentum. But unfortunately for him, he slipped into another downswing which is he yet to emerge from.
The high stakes tables at Full Tilt need the excitement that these players bring to them, so the other players and railbirds should be supportive and hope that their fellow players get back on track and return to the higher limit tables for future epic battles.
