All the FTOPS events have been a success and the tournament series that is currently running is no exception. Many Red Pros have entered the tournaments to take a shot at the top prizes and players have gotten the chance to test their skills against professional poker players.
Since the events started on December 9th a total of seventeen tournaments have been played out and many Full Tilt Pros have participated in them, but they have only been able to reach the final table twice, which gives players an idea of the competitiveness on the virtual felts. The top position reached by a pro was in event number one, when Christian Kruel worked his way up to the final table and managed to survive the aggressive play but was eventually out in 4th place for $14,872. The other pro that reached a final table was Sascha Biorac in event number twelve for $7,093. A total of 26 pros have cashed at the miniFTOPS and Scott Fischman, Roy Winston and Esther Rossi have cashed in three out of the fifteen that have been played.
In the first fifteen events there has been a total of 98,887 players registered, with $2.2 million guaranteed. The largest prize at stake was for $536,370 in event number ten, while the smallest was for $36,450 in event #3. The total cash won by the Full Tilt pros adds-up to $27,927.
There are two events scheduled for today, the first one is a $20 $30K No Limit Hold’em Cashout tourney that will be played at 1 pm. The second tournament on schedule is a $20 $60K No Limit Hold’em 6-max that is scheduled to start at 9 pm.
