As of 3:00pm ET on Wednesday, September 18th, Garden City Group (GCG), the U.S. Department of Justice-appointed claims administrator for the return of Full Tilt Poker funds to U.S. players, has launched the Full Tilt Poker Claim Filing Site. Former U.S. customers of the poker room can now officially file their petitions to be reimbursed the money in their accounts that has been in limbo for over two years.

To file a claim, go to the site GCG has created: http://www.fulltiltpokerclaims.com. From there, navigate to the “File a Petition for Remission” link on the left side of the page.

On that page, you will be presented with a short form that will need to be completed to begin the process. In order to login, you will need the e-mail that was sent from the Full Tilt claims administrator earlier this week containing a unique Petition Number and Control Number. Enter these two numbers in the form.

NOTE: If the site does not accept your Petition Number, re-enter it with a 0 (zero) in front.

The login form also asks for one more piece of identifying information: last name, Full Tilt ID, or zip code on file with Full Tilt.

If you did not receive an e-mail with the login information, click the “Create a New Petition” button, where you will be asked to input your account information and upload documents that can show how much money you are owed.

The next page will ask you to complete some personal information, namely your social security number and e-mail address, though that e-mail address does not have to be the same one on file with Full Tilt Poker. After that, you will be shown the dollar amount GCG has on record for you. If you agree with it, move on to the next page, if not, you can submit documentation to show GCG the proper figures.

Assuming the dollar figure is correct (this writer’s was), you will then need to enter your bank account information, including bank name, address, account number, and routing number, so that the money can be transferred to you electronically. The site does give players a chance to review the bank information; be sure to take this opportunity to do so, as it will be much more difficult to receive your money if the claims administrator doesn’t know where to send it. Pretend this is your tax refund.

The final step is to digitally sign the claim, verifying that you are eligible to receive your funds. We wrote about who was ineligible last week. In a nutshell, anyone who was an employee, director, shareholder, or officer of any of the Full Tilt family of companies, a member of Team Full Tilt, a vendor who was paid via a Full Tilt account, or someone who was involved in the Black Friday legal actions is ineligible. This will not apply to the vast majority of people.

And that’s it. Former Full Tilt players have until November 16th to file a claim. At some point after that date, payments will be sent out.
