The FTOPS events awarded millions of dollars spread out to thousands of players over the course two exciting weeks. Some of online poker’s biggest names experienced success during these prestigious events. Event #1, hosted by Vitaly Lunkin had a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million; Deception Pt took the 1st place prize and after making a deal at the final table he increased his bankroll by $107,518.60.
Event #10 had a $1.5 million prize pool and it was hosted by five time WSOP Champion Allen Cunningham. The tournament was won by t1ger heat who after making a deal at the final table took home $189,318.58.
Event #12 had another $1.5 million prize pool. The event was hosted by Matt Hawrilenko who recently won a WSOP bracelet in the $5,000 No Limit Hold’em – Six Handed event for over $1 million. Event #12 was won by hoodini10 who earned $304,793.45.
Event #17 had a $1 million guaranteed prize pool and was hosted by CardRunners co-founder Taylor Caby. The tournament was won by xqsays, landing a $206,119.50 payday.
Event #22 had the second biggest guaranteed prize pool of the FTOPS events. The tournament was hosted by one of the most talented players in the game today, Patrik Antonius. Event #22 was won by psutennis11, who saw his Full Tilt Poker account balance increase by $453,687.50 for his impressive victory.
The $2.5 Million Guaranteed FTOPS main event was hosted by Gus Hansen. The event was won by Poligraph who took home $453,663.
Full Tilt Poker has some of the biggest online tournaments available, for now the FTOPS events have ended but the Mini FTOPS events will start on Septemeber 9, 2009 with at least $3 million in guaranteed prizes.
