It’s normal to see some of the big names in poker battling at the high stakes tables at Full Tilt Poker. There are hundreds of railbirds that love to see all the aggression that goes on at FTP when names like Phil Ivey, Tom “durrrr” Dwan, Gus Hansen and Brian Hastings spend 12-hour-plus sessions in fierce battles against their opponents.
In the past 24 to 48 hours a screen name that remains anonymous to the poker world has had some massive swings. Martonas has lost around $1.5 million in about 2 days. His or her latest session involved none other than the co-founder of CardRunners Brian Hastings. Brian Hastings was running hot and Martonas was donating money.
In other high stakes tables Patrik Antonius and “aejones” had a session in which Patrik was losing some money at the beginning, but he managed to turn his EV around and started hitting better hands. At the end of the session Patrik had a profit of about $390K.
In other news Full Tilt Poker will be offering today one of the biggest guaranteed tournaments of the day, the $75K guaranteed. There are satellite events that will earn players a seat for only a few dollars. The $75K guaranteed starts at 8pm ET.
