The high stakes Omaha tables on Full Tilt have seen a lot of action recently; Full Tilt Poker Pro Gus Hansen experienced some large swings on Wednesday the 29th, taking a $550K loss. However, the downswing did not affect him as he recovered on Thursday and Friday with an estimated $900K in winnings.
Cole South, another Full Tilt Pro has been a common sight at the high stakes tables recently, consistently engaging players like Patrik Antonius, Tom “durrr” Dwan, Brian Townsend and Brian Hastings. Despite the skilled competition, Cole has managed to increase his bankroll by over a million dollars this year, solidifying his presence in these highly competitive nose-bleed cash games.
Despite a recent downswing, Brian Hastings has recovered at the expense of Gus Hansen. They clashed in a number of big pots, most of which favored Hastings. At the end of their session Brian walked away with a win in the neighborhood of $600K.
It is nice to see all of these high stakes players putting in some significant volume lately, and we hope to see more of them on the tables at Full Tilt soon.
