It took almost two weeks for the Full Tilt Pros and high stakes regulars to start moving large chips stacks around, but the wait was well worth it. Railbirds were able to witness a lot of action at the high stakes tables and the best part was the large number of players that were eager to play at nosebleed stakes.
One of the biggest winners of the day on January 13th was Tom “durrrr” Dwan; he started playing online again at Full Tilt just a few days ago and despite the fact that his return to the tables was not working too well for the first two days, yesterday was an outstanding day for him. Durrrr managed to play twenty two hundred hands and record a profit that exceeded $530K.
Another Full Tilt Pro that had a great session yesterday was Patrick Antonius, he played a little over eighteen hundred hands and ended the day with a $800K profit. Patrick was among the top earners in ’09 and he started the year with a bump that made him lost a million dollars in just the first 12 days of the year, but in his latest session he recuperated most of the losses and he could be entering the positive numbers any time soon.
Other players that ended the day with big profits were Brian Hastings with $352K, David Oppenheim with $245K, Cole South with $127K and Phil Ivey with $59K.
Not all players ended the day with a smile after seeing their account end with a deficit due to their latest participation at the nosebleed table limits. The biggest loser for the day was Brian Townsend with -$608K, he was followed by Gus Hansen with -$550K, Browndog19 lost -$516K, La Key U lost -$309K and Rekelme lost -$108K. Those were all the players that had losses in the six figure range after their sessions on January 13th.
