Full Tilt Poker MiniFTOPS Kicked Off

The miniFTOPS events started yesterday and thousands of players fired-up their Full Tilt software to participate in the $20 No Limit Hold’em 6-max event. The total guaranteed prize pool was $250K but due to the 16,711 entries, the prize pool swelled to $334K.

Competition was fierce like at any tournament at Full Tilt, and after several hours of intense play, dbfla managed to out play all the opponents in the tournament to take the first place prize for $40K. Parus345 finished 2nd for $42K, while MickeyMouseSON took 3rd for $23K. A total of twenty one hundred players got paid for their efforts, including Full Tilt Pro Christian Kruel who finished in 4th place for $14,872.79 payday.

Tonight’s schedule features a $50 No Limit Hold’em 3x Shootout at 9 pm. The prize pool at stake will be $30K. Tomorrow at 1 pm there will be a $20 NL Hold’em tourney that will allow one re-buy and 1 add-on, and the prize pool at stake will be $200K. For players who enjoy the less common variations of poker, there will a Stud 8 tournament tomorrow with a $20 buy-in.

On the weekend there will be a total of $900K guaranteed across five different tournaments. The first tournament on Saturday will be a $100K guaranteed Pot Limit Omaha 6-max $100K event. Next up will be a $250K guaranteed $10 rebuy event. Sunday kicks off at 1pm with a 6-max KO tourney with a $200K prize pool. On Sunday afternoon there will be a heads-up tournament with a $150K prize pool.

The MiniFTOPS will end on December 20th with a No Limit Hold’em tournament that will have players fighting their way to the top money positions to take a chunk of the $600K prize pool.
