Railbirds around the world just witnessed another session in which Full Tilt Poker pro Gus Hansen did not have his A game running. In addition to that, some of the best high stakes players in the world were in the right place at the right time to take Gus Hansen’s money.
It looked like they were taking turns to see who could take the biggest amount of money from Gus. He was losing money at a rate that was a little short of two blinds per hand, which might not sound that bad, but when the blinds are $400, the numbers at the end of 910 hands are not easy on the eye and even less on the bankroll. Gus Hansen finished the day with a lost of $725K.
The players that increased their bankroll courtesy of Gus Hansen were: Tom “durrrr” Dwan, who finished the day with a profit of $221K; Full Tilt Poker pro Patrik Antonius, who increased his bankroll with $149K; and Cole South, who boosted his account with $146K.
Other popular players that had losses yesterday were the 2009 WSOPE Main Event champion John Juanda and the 2008 WSOP $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha with re-buys champion Phil Galfond.
