Full Tilt Poker pro Patrik Antonius is considered one of the best poker players in the world and he prefers to play cash games because he can win more money in a shorter time period. But even though he does not play in many live tournaments, he is considered a successful player in tournaments and he has $759K in WSOP cashes. Antonius has only won one title at the major poker tournaments and it was at the EPT event in Baden bei Wien in 2005. His biggest cash at a live tournament was in December 2005 when he took second place at the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic for $1 million.
Patrick had a remarkable day yesterday on the Full Tilt tables as he logged a session in which absolutely everything went his way. He faced Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond and Ilari “Ziggmund” Sahamies, with whom he played only 237 and profited over $500K.
The player that recorded the biggest lost for the day was Ziigmund with $468K followed by Steve “Zugwat” Silverman with $218K, as well as “Sirens” and OMGClayAiken who each lost around $70K.
