Phil’s success in poker embraces all types of games and he is an outstanding player in live tournaments online and live cash games at all stakes. He currently owns 7 World of Series Poker Bracelets. In 2002 he won three of those bracelets and he has the chance to repeat the same achievement this year when the 2009 WSOP final table resumes and a champion is crowned.
Ivey’s earnings in the WSOP events exceed $3.8 million and his career earnings exceed $12 million. But Ivey has had success in prop bets as well, as some rumors say that Ivey will make more money from his prop bets in the 09 WSOP events than the cashes he’s had.

On of the most interesting things about Ivey’s bracelets is the fact that none of them have been won for a Texas Hold’em tournament and he has only repeated the Pot Limit Omaha format once. On the other hand the player that has the most bracelets in Phil Hellmuth and all of his bracelets have been won in Texas Hold’em events.
