FullTilt Poker

It has been a difficult year for many poker pros, with factors like the economy and downswings that have put their bankrolls in serious jeopardy. But what doesn’t kill them will only make them stronger and they will hopefully continue to play at the high stake levels.

The latest addition to the Full Tilt Team, Tom “durrrr” Dwan has had an extremely tough year. In the early months of ’09, Durrrr dropped in excess of $3 million, but managed to win it back. Unfortunately, he hit another rough patch in November when he started playing Isildur1. Dwan is down over $4 million in the last two months alone.

Durrrr says that even though it has been a tough year for him, he is not down money for the year, and that anybody who claims he is should sit down at a table against him and play. Not surprisingly, nobody has accepted the challenge yet.

In other Tom Dwan related news part of his contract with Full Tilt requires more tournament play from him and he has expressed that he was going to participate in more live events anyways. He is currently playing at theWPT Five Diamond Classic and is still in contention after two days of play.

Merely claiming that he is “not down money” isn’t really “talking about his bankroll” is it? I was quite interested by the title of this piece but it tells us nothing
