The official schedule of the 2009 WSOPE had Event two as a three day event, but due to the number of players who have exited the tournament, the last players were asked if they wanted to play until there was a final winner. They all agreed and they are now playing until a winner is declared.
There are ten players remaining and among those is Team Full Tilt‘s Howard Lederer, who has won two World of Series Bracelets as well as two World Poker Tour titles. His live tournament earnings exceed $5.2 million. The other Full Tilt Poker Pro at the table is Canadian player Erik Cajelais, who has cashed six times at the World Poker Tour and three times in World Series of Poker events.
Event number two of the WSOPE is a Pot Limit Hold’em / Pot Limit Omaha tournament. The field started with 158 players, 18 spots will be paid and the total prize pool is $395K.
The Main Event will start on Saturday; many of the best players in the world have taken the trip to UK to participate in the WSOPE.
