This past weekend, thousands of players fired up their Full Tilt software for a chance to win a percentage of the large guaranteed prize pools.
The Sunday Brawl had 2,794 players which bumped up the original $500K prize pool in $858,800. As the tournament progressed and there was only three players remaining, mikkelstrack, Michael “YrrsiNN” Huber and Snusarn1 stopped the tourney to try to agree on some fixed numbers and it didn’t take long for them to reach a deal. At the end mikkelstrack took first place for $96K, Michael “YrrsiNN” Huber took $72K for 2nd, and Snusarn1 finished in third place for $72K.
Another popular tournament is the $200K Double Deuce and this past weekend brought 11,578 players to the virtual felts. The prize pool was boosted to $231K and the first place winner would take home $35K. Just like in the Sunday Brawl the top three players reached an agreement and jhill_madami took first place for $33K, KlimAAAs took $23K for 2nd, and alexterra took third place for $23K.
The biggest tournament of the weekend was the $750K guaranteed and 4,367 players showed up to play. When the action stopped in the tournament, it was WooohSaaah who took the $154K first place prize, while Hand Banana7 took 2nd for $93K, and Beat Man cashed in 3rd for $61K.
The Sunday Mulligan closed out the day with 1,291 players registering. The field had several poker pros and most of them where having a good day at the tables. The last man standing was DrAction for $56K, while Believer8219 finished 2nd for $36K, and WMACHINE took 3rd for $26K.
