Full Tilt Poker awards millions of dollars each weekend: besides the regular tournaments it also offers special tournaments which add to the overall amount at stake each weekend. This past weekend was not the exception as there was a Big Little tournament added to the tournament rotation. The addition of this type of tournament brings in thousands of players that want to take a shot at the remarkable $250K prize pool for the low $5.50 buy-in. Yesterday’s tournament was played in the Turbo No Limit Hold’em variation and it had a total of 33,736 players, the first place winner 8Psyk08 took home $22,500, the runner-up was GaiusBrobi for $15,725 and the third place finisher was Mo1987 for $11,500.
The Sunday Brawl had 2,738 players for a total prize pool of $547K, the first place winner dogspot saw his Full Tilt balance increase by $111K, his opponent in the heads-up match was ronaldgrauer for $71K, and the third place finisher was amarkf for $53K. Another big tournament that’s played on Sundays is the $200K re-buy and there were 470 entries for a total prize pool of $228K. When the dust settled, the last player standing was nicos11 for $57K, his last opponent in the tournament was riyyc225 for $35K.
Another tournament that brought thousands of players to the Full Tilt tables was the $200K Double Deuce, a total of 11,424 players took part in the tournament and battled for several hours to take a percentage of the $228K prize pool. The winner was FishTank1212 for $35K, the runner-up was dan1113 for $23K and the player that finished one position short of the heads-up match was da_professional for $16K.
The $750K guaranteed was the largest tournament played this weekend and the field of players reached a notable 4,239, which bumped up the total prize pool to $847K. It was the only tournament in which an agreement was reached among the top finishers, imahustla1 took the top honors for $122K and his last opponent was WanderingQueen for $102K.
All the players that busted out of the previous tournaments rather quickly had another chance to score a big profit and this time around it was with the Sunday Mulligan; a total of 1,265 players wanted to end the day with a five figure payday, which made things heat up until kmksmkn was the last man standing for $47K.
