This past weekend was special at Full Tilt Poker because besides the regular big prize guarantees there was an additional tournament with a $250K prize pool, meant to get players pumped-up for the FTOPS events starting on November 4th.
The FTOPS warm-up tournament was a complete success that brought more than 43,000 players to the virtual felts. The lucky winner saw his Full Tilt balance grow by more than $22K.
The Sunday Brawl was the first regular tournament on schedule and it had a total of 2,745 players, who boosted the prize pool to $549K. The last man standing after several hours of play was Jeff “Biggest Donkey” Banghart for $111K, the runner-up was Michael Toreniec for $71K and the third place finisher was Simon “tedlogan19” Charette for $53,253.
Next on the schedule was the $200K Double Deuce, which had a good acceptance from all Full Tilt players who bumped up the prize pool to $211K. The biggest tournament on Sunday was the $750K guaranteed, which brought almost four thousand players who wanted a percentage of the huge prize pool.
