Patrik Antonius is no doubt one of the best high stakes players in the world, and his stats in 2009 were reflecting that…at least until October.
Antonius’ bankroll grew to almost $7 million in the first ten months of the year. In the past month or so he’s played plenty of sessions against the new high stakes sensation Isildur1, with sporadic success.
Just a few days ago, Patrik had a terrible session against Isildur1 where his losses exceeded $1.8 million. Patrik hit the tables this past weekend looking to recover his money, but that plan went awry vs. Isildur1 and Ilari “ziigmund” Sahamies. In just 15 hundred hands Patrik lost $2 million more. Ziigmund ended the day with $830K in profit and Isildur1 with a whopping $1.2 million, all at Antonius’ expense.
All told, Patrik has lost nearly $4 million this week, yet he will most likely return to the tables today or in the following days to recover his losses, so keep an eye at the Full Tilt high stakes tables.
