Full Tilt Pros Miss Isildur1

When Isildur1 appeared at the Full Tilt tables, players and railbirds were excited because he wasn’t scared to play anyone. He managed to put in long sessions multi-tabling against several Red Pros at a time, and quickly built his bankroll up to more than $6 million. But unfortunately for him, the high stakes regulars adapted to his style of play and he started having losing sessions against them. Isildur1 had an edge at the No Limit Hold’em tables where he won most of the money, but he switched over to the Pot Limit Omaha and things started to spiral out of control. Some players refused to play him at hold’em so he had to adapt to what they played which gradually drained his winnings.

Isildur1 has not been seen at the tables since Tuesday when played an epic session against Brian Hastings, which many suspect left him busto.

Since Isildur has not appeared at the tables, the high stakes regulars have turned their attention to the Full Tilt Pro Gus Hansen. Hansen has had a rough year as well – his graph indicates that he is down $6 million in 2009 alone.

Hansen was sitting at the 7-game tables and he was quickly joined by: Patrik Antonius, Ilari “ziigmund” Sahamies, David Benyamine, Tom “durrrr” Dwan, Chau Giang, Matt Hawrilenko, Brian Townsend, John Juanda and David Oppenheim. At the end of their session Patrik, was the top earner, followed by Chau, and then Hansen. The biggest losers were Hawrilenko, who dumped $430K, and Sahamies, who lost $395K.

It’s unknown if Isildur1 will re-appear at the high stake tables but one thing is for sure, he will be missed by all the high stakes regulars.
