Ziigmund is a well known high stakes player, despite of his young age he has been around for some time and he certainly has the chops to play against the best players in the world.
He ended ’09 with a profit of around $3 million, despite the fact that in November of 2009 he was up more than $6.6 million. He ran into a downswing that he carried over into 2010, but he managed to turn things around and it looks like he is back on his A-game – he has been able to recuperate his losses and he is currently up almost $1 million. Ziigmund has faced the toughest line-up of Full Tilt Pros and high stakes regulars but he still has managed to win on most of his sessions. In his last sessions he faced Tom “durrrr” Dwan, Patrick Antonius, Cole South and others.
But not all players have started the year on track; Patrick Antonius has struggled and continues to struggle so far this year. He has been on a losing streak in the last three days which contrasts with the outstanding ’09 he had. In 2009 he outperformed all the competition and ended the year with a profit that exceeded $8.9 million.
Durrrr is another Full Tilt Pro that has been having a hard time at the tables. He returned to the high stakes tables on January 10th and quickly lost more then $600K, he then won back his losses and has been on a constant seesaw.
Another Full Tilt Pro that has been seen very frequently at the tables is Cole South, his results have been improving as time passes by and he is currently up more that $900K. He closed ’09 with a profit that exceeded $2 million and he only played during the last six months of the year.
