Isildur1 had been absent from the high stake tables after losing much of the money he’d won from players like the Full Tilt Pro Tom “durrrr” Dwan, Ilari “ziigmund” Sahamies and others. After all, losing more than six million dollars in less than thirty days requires some soul searching.
What might have been going through Isildur’s mind is something that nobody can ever know. Maybe he got over his head and lost respect for his fellow high stakes players. Multi-tabling against some of the best players in the world doesn’t seem like such a good idea now that he is losing.
There’s no doubt that Isildur1 is good for the game as he brings excitement and railbirds to the tables with his epic sessions. Isildur started playing again on Sunday and his first session was against his favorite opponent, durrrr. Dwan has been running the last few days and probably wanted to win some of his money back. Unfortunately for durrrr, things have not changed and Isildur took more than $500K off of him in their session. Isildur played Brian Townsend next, and won almost a million in a few short hours.
On Monday Isildur1 engaged in a session that lasted twelve hours and 5,300 hands. The session started against Patrik Antonius who beat him for nearly $400K, and then moved on to Brian Townsend who won $50K. Lastly, Isildur played ziigmund, and it’s a good thing he did because he ended the session up over $2 million.
