Over the past few days, Isildur1 has been a staple at the high stakes tables on Full Tilt Poker. He has been playing against some of the best poker players in the world, as names like Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius, Tom “durrrr” Dwan, Cole South and many others have tried to take advantage of the relative newcomer.
The impression that Isildur1 made in the poker community was of a really skilled player that would play anyone for any amount of money and he proved that when he played Patrik Antonius in an epic session in which he lost $2.7 million. Before the epic session he had won $6 million in just 24 days of play, pretty impressive for a player that is playing some of the best players in the world.
In the last 24 hours Isildur1 has played against many of the Red Pros and he has gained back a big percentage of his losses to Patrik, winning $1.3 million. One player that has not been able to win his money back from Isildur1 has been the newest member of Team Full Tilt, Tom Dwan, who is still down more than a million dollars against the new high stakes sensation Isildur1.
Tom Dwan is currently playing a live durrrr challenge in Europe his first opponent was Marcello “luckexpress” Marigliano. The match ended with a slight advantage for Marigliano, who won $22,500. Each match at the live durrrr challenge is for 500 hands and the buy-in is $250K. The second opponent on the list is Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies and the third challerger is Sammy “Any Two” George.
