With the launch of New Jersey intrastate online gaming just three weeks away, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has published a list of ancillary companies and related vendors that have been given the go head to enter into agreements with internet gaming licensees. The document, published November 1st, lists 54 companies that are now authorized to participate in online gaming in the Garden State.

A dozen of the companies are categorized as ancillary, meaning these companies will be able to provide goods or services necessary to support gaming activity. These services include such things as payment processing, geolocation, and player identification. Here is the complete list of ancillary companies:

To date, five Atlantic City casinos have been granted licenses for online gaming in New Jersey: Tropicana Casino and Resort, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino, and the Golden Nugget. All servers and related equipment must be located on the property of a licensed Atlantic City casino, though that equipment does not have to necessarily belong to that casino. Case in point, Wynn will be housing its equipment in one of Caesars’ four New Jersey casinos.

The New Jersey DGE has circled November 26th on the calendar as the day that online gambling will go live in the state. A “soft launch” will begin five days earlier to begin testing the sites’ capabilities. Whereas Nevada has allowed sites to only offer online poker, New Jersey operators will be allowed to offer any game already available in a brick and mortar casino.
