Nosebleed Limits Heating-up at Full Tilt Poker

The first month of the year is behind and millions of dollars have switched hands at the Full Tilt Poker tables. Some pros have started the year with a twist of luck regarding their results in ’09; a clear example of this is Patrick Antonius, who finished the year up a little less than $9 million, yet so far this year his results have him in the red numbers. He is definitely one of the most skilled players at the nosebleed table limits but luck has not been on his side this year. He has recently made some progress which has brought his numbers for the year a bit closer to breaking even but he still has to recoup almost $300K in losses.

Another Full Tilt Pro that has had better days at the virtual felts is Brian Townsend; it only took him three hundred and seventy seven hands to lose more than $581K. A close friend of Townsend, Cole South has been going through a remarkable performance run in the last two weeks but his latest action at the tables does not show the great moment he is in. In his latest session Cole ended up losing more than $300K.

Gus Hansen has been struggling for many months at the nosebleed stakes and in his latest session he dropped over $321K. He was recently playing at the Aussie Millions main event and was performing well, though his run was cut short and he ended up taking twenty-third place for $50K AUD.

In the action recorded yesterday at Full Tilt, the names that ended up with a profit for the day were: David Oppenheim for $289K, Slick Puppy for $144K and Tom “durrrr” Dwan for $139K.
