The International Private Members Club in London will play host to the first ever Paradise Series of Poker (PSOP). A total of 12 live poker tournaments will play out in the historic European city and Paradise Poker will serve as the sponsor of the festivities.
Paradise Poker makes its home on Boss Media’s International Poker Network (IPN). According to PokerScout.com, which ranks online poker room traffic, the IPN is the ninth largest network worldwide with a seven-day running average of 1,700 real money ring game players. At its peak, expect to find over 2,600 players taking to its virtual felts. Other sites on Boss Media’s network include Celeb Poker, Fortune Poker, InterPoker, and Poker Heaven.
High-stakes tournaments will play out in the historic European city featuring staple games like Texas Hold’em, Omaha, and HORSE. The latter is a five-game mix that includes Hold’em, Omaha, Razz, Stud, and Stud Eight or Better. PSOP preliminary tournaments come with buy-ins that range from £50 to £300 and the Main Event is capped at 400 entrants. Here’s a sneak peak at the Paradise Poker PSOP schedule. All times are local:

The £1,000 buy-in feature tournament boasts two starting days and a colossal £10,000 added to the event’s purse by Paradise Poker. Online finals held today (August 2nd), August 9th, August 16th, and August 23rd at 19:00 GMT will set players back €170. The tournaments award one package to the PSOP Main Event for every €1,600 in the prize pool. To satellite into the €170 buy-in event, Paradise Poker hopefuls can take to the felts in €22 buy-in daily qualifiers. These run on Monday to Saturday at 19:30 GMT and Sunday at 16:00 GMT; they award one seat for every €170 in the prize pool.
Qualifiers for the €22 satellite begin at an affordable €2.20 and kick off every Monday to Saturday at 17:00 GMT and Sunday at 13:00 GMT. One seat to the €22 qualifier will be given away for every €22 in the prize pool. Each €1,600 package includes entry to the £1,060 buy-in PSOP Main Event and €380 to use towards expenses. The minimum age for all tournaments is 18 and packages are non-transferable. The online poker room’s website notes, “Winners of online satellite packages will be required to wear Paradise Poker branding for the duration of the their participation in the event and to cooperate with reasonable publicity requests before, during, and after their participation in the PSOP Main Event.”
