Poker4Green was a Cake Poker Network skin. It launched in 2010 and marketed to European and South American online poker players. The Cake Poker Network ran into financial difficulties around this time. Poker4Green could not keep its doors open. Its players were not getting paid and neither were the site owners. It ceased operations in 2011. All players were moved to Colt Poker. This was a common theme as many Cake Network site operators were forced out of business due to not getting paid by the network.
Players have complained ever since about Colt Poker’s inability to pay. Some of this has to do with the DoylesRoom financial issues. Lock Poker destroyed what was left of the Cake Network, later known as Revolution Gaming, by not paying millions of dollars it owed to network operators. It appears that most players that had money on Poker4Green never got paid.
