Just a week removed from an event in Macau, the APPT is all set for another event that will have the people in New Zealand at the edge of their seat. The PokerStars APPT Auckland will be run Saturday 10th- Saturday 18th, 2009.
The previous APPT Auckland was won by a PokerStars qualifier who earned his ticket in an $80 buy-in satellite; he had the skill to walk out of the Skycity Casino with almost $175k in his pocket.
The APPT Auckland will have many types of tournaments available for all varieties of players. There will be live satellites which will award seats to the main event on Thursday October 15th, 2009. Each satellite will have a buy-in of $325 + $35 and they will start running on October 10th.
There will also be one single table high roller event per day starting on Wednesday the 14th and running until Saturday October 17th.
PokerStars is still hosting satellites that will award seats to the APPT Auckland. Each package will include the buy-in to the main event, hotel and $1,750 in cash for transportation and spending money.
