PokerStars attracts thousands of players every weekend, and this Sunday was no exception as The Sunday Million’s prizepool – which had a special $2.5 million guarantee – eventually swelled to $3,656,600.
When the tournament started there were 18,283 players and it took ten and a half hours of play until there were only 9 players left.
After the first three players busted out of the final table, the remaining players stopped the tournament to discuss some fixed numbers and eventually came to an agreement. At the end of the tournament the top six finishers ended up taking home six figures, including Zadman5311 who took $282K, m8675309a who cashed for $200K, call110 who won $250K.
The Sunday Warm-Up attracted a huge field as well as a total of 4,763 players were at their tables when the action started and the prize pool hit $952K. It took nine hours for egor2077 to outplay the massive field and take home the $149K prize, while Titantom32 took 2nd for $110K.
