The third event in the Czech-Slovak Poker Tour, played in Brno, had one hundred and thirty one players and the first place prize was $21K. Among the field were only six PokerStars qualifiers and one of them managed to outplay all his opponents and win the event. Martin Hruby is a local that has been playing poker for the past nine years; his performance is improving and proof of that is his win at the CSPT Brno plus a second place in a WCOOP $1,050 tourney.
The players that made the final table are the following: Martin Hruby, Jiri Halouzka, Elmar Muller, Miroslav Tarkovsky, Lubos Krupak, Andrej Bartovic, Petr Dohnal and Josef Smanek.
The next stop in the Czech-Slovak Poker Tour will have players traveling to Bratislava to the Caesars Poker Club at the Golden Vegas casino. The tournament will be held from December 10th through the 13th.
In other PokerStars news, a new poker tour has recently being announced: the UK & Ireland Poker Tour will have its first event starting this next month. There will be a total of nine stops and the grand final will be played in London on October 2010. The winner of each event will take the first place prize in addition to the entry fee to the main event.
