The PCA ended a few days ago and poker players from around the world have flown to Deauville, France to take part of the first event in the European Tour for 2010. Several PokerStars players registered for day one but only four of them started playing at once, while Peter Eastgate, Dario Minieri, Jude Ainsworth and Joe Beevers changed their starting day to day two.

A total of three hundred and forty eight players started to grind their way into the top positions and their objective will be making it as high as possible in the money positions, but before that many tournament levels and hundreds of players will have to be outplayed.

One of the first players to bust out of the tournament was Antonio Subtil, who moved all-in while holding pocket kings; player Moetaz El Sayed called with Ah-10h. The board brought a ten and two other cards with a heart, the turn was another heart and that was enough to put Subtil on his way to the door.

Four PokerStars Pros started to play in day one and they all managed to survive and will be returning for day two, they are Katja Thater, Richard Toth, Arnaud Mattern and Vlad Zguba. At the end of day one, Robert Cezarescu held the chip lead with 216K chips, his closest follower was Corneliu Cretu with 186K chips.

Day two started with a little delay, most players arrived late and the first cards where dealt at 12:45 pm. A few of the notable names at the tables are: Joao Barbosa, Jonathan Aguiar, Jude Ainsworth, Dmitry Stelmak, Dominik Nitsche and Greg Raymer.

Day 1B started today and some of the PokerStars Pros have been able to double-up quite early, only time will tell if all of them make it to day two.
