PokerStars Pro players at the EPT Kyiv had neither shame nor glory; all three of them hit the rail before the third day started.
The third day at the tournament was the most stressful for most of the players. Game would end when only thirty two players remained and only the first forty places would be paid. Not all players that hit the rail today would go empty handed. The German player Jorg Peisert was glad that he was not the bubble boy when he hit the rail in 40th position.
The bubble boy at the EPT Kyiv was Serguei Pomerantsev: his Ace and Queen of Hearts did not hold-up against Jonas Kronwitter’s pair of Jacks which became even stronger with the third Jack that the flop brought to the table.
There are seven PokerStars players remaining at in the tournament, the biggest stack is held by Russian player Michael Naletov. The PokerStars player with the least chips is Menno Mulder, who currently has 69,500 chips.
Day 4 will start tomorrow and the chip leader is Russian player Maxim Lykov, he sits with 636,000 chips and is closely followed by Vadim Markushevski with 631,500. The 1st twelve positions in the tournament are dominated by European players, mainly Russians and Germans. There are only three players remaining from the American continent: Anatoly Zharnitsky from Canada, and Alexander Fitzgerald and Andrew Malott from the USA.
