PokerStars EPT London has a 21 year old in the Chip Lead

The EPT London built up a lot of excitement in the poker world, hundreds of players made the trip from all parts of the globe. A new world record for number of players in a UK poker tournament has been set with the main event – a total of 730 players participated in the event, with the top 104 getting paid.

The chip lead is held by young poker superstar Annette Oberstad, who has definitely shown all poker players around the world that she has what it takes to take down a tournament. She is the youngest player in history to win a WSOPE title and the first woman to win a WSOPE main event. American Tommy Vedes heads into play with the next biggest stack.

2009 November Nine finalist and PokerStars sponsored player Kevin Schaffel has the third largest stack, and looks in great shape to take down the event.

Other notables in the field are the 2008 WSOP main event winner Peter Eastgate, Raymond Wu from PokerStars Pro Asia team, and Maria “Maridu” Mayrinck.
