The high roller event at London had 75 entries and the field included some of the best players in the world: Phil Ivey, PokerStars pro Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier, Greg Raymer, Chris Moneymaker, Carlos Mortensen, Tom “durrrr” Dwan, and Barry Greenstein just to mention a few.
Overall it has been a great tournament with the extremely tough field generating a high level of play.
The first two players out of the tournament were PokerStars pro Vanessa Rousso and November Nine finalist Phil Ivey.
The final table started today and the nine player field included some very experienced players. The chip lead at the start of the day was held by Erik Cajelais with $893K, in second was Matt Glantz with $647K, and third place was held by Eugene Katchalov with $530K. The rest of the final table is rounded out by: Adolfo Vaeza, PokerStars pro Leo Fernandez, Ilari Sahamies, Shane Reihill and Dennis Phillips.
It will be one entertaining final table to watch since all players definitely have the skills to win the event.
