A total of 119 players managed to overcome a very tough day at the poker tables in Prague, and a new group of players has arrived to compete in Day 1B.

Day 1B brought many experienced players and well known pros to the tables, including Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier, Dario Minieri, William Thorson, Johnny Lodden, Sebastian Ruthenberg, Jude Ainsworth, Noah Boeken, Rino Mathis, Carter Phillips, Kuca Pagano, Alexander Kravchenko, Huck Seed,  and Salvatore Bonavena.

Play started at 12:15 pm and just ten minutes into the action, Michael Tureniec ran is pocket kings into aces. The aces held up and Cantonati was the early chip leader, leaving Tureniec with only 250 chips. After almost being eliminated in the first minutes of the tournament, Tureniec’s luck improved and he managed to double-up four times which improved his chip stack to about 3,500 chips. Unfortunately for him he eventually was busted out of the tournament with about an hour and twenty five minutes into the day.

PokerStars pro Johnny Lodden has started the tournament in great shape and is currently leading the pack around 50K in chips. He is closely followed by PokerStars qualifier Chaz Chatta from the UK and PokerStars pro Jude Ainsworth.
