PokerStars EPT Warsaw

The six day tournament has kicked off with 88 players showing up for Day 1A, which is a small field for European Tour Standards, but a much larger field is expected tomorrow.

The first man to leave the tournament was Guiseppi Vividomini who decided to mix it up with aces against Peter Bosen. The flop came down 3c-Kd-6s and eventually Guiseppi puched all his chips to the center of the table, only to see Bosen cal and showe his pocket sixes. With two remaining cards to come Guiseppi was still in contention but was not the favorite in the hand.  The remaining cards did not change anything in the hand and Guiseppi hit the rail.

As always the EPT Warsaw caught the attention of many professional players, including PokerStars pro and 2008 WSOP champion Peter Eastgate, Alexander Dovzhenko, Carter Phillips, Nico Behling, Mikhail Tulchinskiy, Michel Abecassis, Almira Skripchenko, Oskar Silow, Viotto Rintala, Dave Hardy, Luca Pagano, Arnaud Mattern, Felipe Luyanda, Angel Guillen, Alex Kravchenko, Marcin Horecki and JC Alvarado.

The current chip lead is held by the PokerStars qualifier Clayton Mozdzen.  There are seven PokerStars pros remaining in the field and only four qualifiers.
