All those hardcore NHL fans that play at PokerStars will have the unique opportunity to attend one of the biggest hockey events of the year, the NHL Awards. PokerStars has made it simple to participate and take a chance to hang out in Sin City and share time with other fans and NHL players.
The qualifier tournaments started running on February 20th and for those players that don’t want to spend money PokerStars has created freerolls that will also award seats to the qualifier tourneys. The top 90 players at the first round qualifiers will advance to the semi-finals which will take place on February 14th and 28th and the last two semi-final tourneys will be held on March 14th and 28th. The top fifty players in each semi-final event will receive a seat to the grand final. PokerStars will be awarding Dallas Stars merchandise to the top ten players in the Grand Final and to the top performers in each semi-final as well.
The players that make it to the Grand Final will be playing against Daniel Negreanu, Brett Hull and other poker pros and celebrities. The player that manages to outplay all his competition will win a package that will include the tickets to the awards ceremony for four people, plus the plane tickets to Sin City and extra money for accommodations and spending money. The Grand Final is scheduled to start on April 4th at 9 pm.
